  • The World Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR)
    COAR is a young association which unites organisations from across the world. Its core mission is to enhance greater visibility and application of research outputs through global networks of Open Access digital repositories. Moreover, COAR aims to enable every citizen in the world to get access to – and be able to benefit from – knowledge produced from publicly-funded research.
  • Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL)
    EIFL is a not-for-profit organization that works with libraries to enable access to knowledge in developing and transition economy countries in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America. In a highly networked digital world our activities help people to access and use information for education, learning, research and sustainable community development.

  • International Network for Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP)
    INASP was established by the International Council for Science (ICSU) in 1992, and was registered as a UK charity in 2004. Based in Oxford and governed by an international Board of Trustees, INASP is run with a small number of full-time staff working with, and through, partners and networks in over one hundred countries.INASP's work is funded by its partner countries, governmental and non-governmental development agencies, and philanthropic foundations.
  • Tanzania Library Association (TLA)
    TLA was established in 1973, after the dissolving of the East African Library Association (EALA). Ever since it has remained the only professional association that safeguards the interests of all library and information personnel in Tanzania.
  • African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AFLIA)
    AfLIA was founded in 2013, and was registered as an independent international non-governmental organization (NGO) under the laws of Ghana in October 2014. AfLIA is the trusted voice of the African library and information community in Africa’s development. It drives equitable access to information and knowledge for all. AfLIA believes in Professionalism and Inclusivity, Integrity, Transparency & Accountability, Innovation & Creativity, Customer focus and Access to Information as a Human Right. Indeed, AfLIA connect’s Africa’s library and information communities.
